As Packaging Procurement Associate, you will be working in the Packaging Operations Team based in our centrally located Berlin office. As part of this role, you will:
Manage and maintain accurate inventory and records using the Hive App and data analysis tools
Implement best practices for inventory control, including cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation processes.
Meet customer expectations for quality of packaging, packing, and value-added services as outlined by the customer.
Handle customer queries and problem solve meeting operational needs and meeting customer satisfaction
Analyze inventory turnover rates and develop strategies to reduce extra stock while meeting customer demand.
Implement and manage a visibility board that includes Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other metrics to support continuous improvement.
Ability to onboard new suppliers
Ability to problem solve, work independently, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Gains and maintains an understanding of the manufacturing capabilities, customers, products, sales programs, competitors, and service needs.
Identify preferred suppliers that can meet technical needs of the request.
Proactively offers relevant products to sales and operations.
Helps develop and grow sales and margin by developing an effective working relationship with the Growth team.
Creates and updates purchase orders.
Prepares various reports as required.
Performs other duties as required.
Documents processes and shares knowledge with stakeholders

Enthusiasm to build an early-stage VC-backed company and reshape the logistics industry
Entrepreneurial spirit with a proactive and hands-on mentality
Curiosity to dive deeper into e-commerce operations and understand customer pain points
You have at least 1 year of work experience in supply chain /buying/ procurement/e-commerce
You are a good communicator to interact and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders
You enjoy operational work, have a hands-on mentality, and thrive in a customer-focused business environment
You structure your work, are diligent, know how to prioritize, and are able to plan ahead in an exciting growth environment
You love writing things down and sharing your ideas
Used a helpdesk tool in the past (Ideally Zendesk)
You speak English on a business level as well as one of the following languages German, Spanish, Italian, or French (C1)
